How to update Sendy on Sendybay

Whenever Sendy releases a new version, we roll out support for the new version of Sendy within a couple of weeks.

Sendy version upgrades can be of two type

1. Major upgrades
2. Minor upgrades

In this article, we will talk about how you can upgrade in both the scenarios.

Major Upgrade

These are the upgrades when first number in the version schema has increased. E.g. you are on 6.0 and Sendy releases 7.0

We do NOT roll them out automatically as it requires you to upgrade the license before you can use the new version.

Follow the steps below to get the new version

1. Find your Sendy license key (this should be in the email you bought Sendy from)
2. Pay for upgrade at https://sendy.co/get-updated
3. Click "Update Setup" in Sendybay dashboard - https://app.sendybay.com/dashboard

Minor Upgrade

By this we mean, 6.0 upgraded to 6.1. The first number remains the same.

These upgrades are rolled out by us automatically. If you don't seen them come through, it likely means one of the following

1. Something failed and you can manually trigger update from the dashboard - https://app.sendybay.com/dashboard
2. We are still working on adding support for the minor version and you should get it within 1-2 weeks.
